5 Super tips to make your skin look healthy

Caring for your skin, and keeping it clean is crucial to keep it healthy. But how do you start? In the morning you should at least start by exfoliating your face. This is a great way to gently remove dead skin cells and give your skin a fresh look. We recommend you to do this 2 or 3 times a week. Don’t overdo it though! After washing and/or exfoliating your skin, always apply a good toner. This will help your skin keep the moisture locked in, and feel soft. After toning, apply a hydrating facial moisturizer, preferably with vitamin E. This vitamin helps the elasticity of your skin. The last step, and one of the most important ones: wear SPF! Protecting your skin from harmful UV rays is important, even when the sun isn’t shining brightly.

At night, you should always clean your face again. If you wear makeup, opt for a gentle micellar or oil-based cleanser. Wash your face after removing your make-up, to ensure that everything is gone. Afterward, apply toner again. You can choose to wear a night cream, but it’s okay to wear the same moisturizer you used during the day as well. Apply it royally so your skin can heal overnight.

Facial masks are also a great way to keep your skin healthy and radiant. When choosing a mask, always try to choose something with fruit in it. The acids in fruit help your skin relax, and reduces redness and irritation. It’s not necessary to use a face maskevery day. Just like exfoliating, 2 or 3 times a week will suffice!
